Butterfly
2025 "Butterfly" is an experimental animation that weaves together analogue, live-action, and digital techniques. As an absolute film, it forgoes narrative in favor of pure audiovisual expression, immersing the viewer in the sensory world of butterfly wings. Through abstract soundscapes, tactile visual textures, and delicate motion, the piece explores how it might feel to hear the flutter, touch the fragile surface, or witness the intricate beauty of butterfly wings in motion.

In Flow
2025 "In Flow" explores the concept of flow through multiple lenses—philosophical, animated, and design-oriented. It investigates how flow can be interpreted as a visual or kinetic element and as a metaphorical or conceptual force. It navigates between abstraction and intentionality, using movement, rhythm, and spatial transitions to reflect the transformative nature of flow. Flow emerges through organic movement: a subconscious freedom where mind and body harmonize, surrendering to the rhythm of motion. This piece is created through a fusion of analogue and digital processes. It conjures a magical realm where anything feels possible—where energy, ideas, and forms move seamlessly, constantly shifting and evolving. It is a meditation on movement, transformation, and the invisible currents that shape both our inner and outer worlds. The visual language is built around animated mandalas—symbols of transformation—that guide viewers into a space where time and space dissolve.

Light Streaks
2024 "Light Streaks" is an experimental collaboration between Loiter Galleries and Long Beach local artists Kati and Ivaylo Angelov. This surprising and vibrant art and light exhibition opened at Loiter Galleries on Dec. 14th 2024. The exhibition consists of Ivaylo Angelov’s traditional abstract paintings, and Kati Angelov’s novel projection mapping art. The two mediums are not meant to coexist, which makes this a unique experience not only for Long Beach, but for the art world overall. This exhibition is the first of its kind in Long Beach. This video is an edit of the project execution and mapping process.

Fire Flower
2024 "Fire Flower" is a projection design created for the Natural History Museum First Fridays event in 2024. It is designed for the "Dueling Dinosaurs" sculpture. Inspired by the topic of plant cloning “Fire Flower” is a virtual choreography. The project interprets the cloning process as a dance of particles and molecules. Pollens like dust fertilize the land and a web of repeated patterns spread on the bones of the dueling dinosaurs. The particles give life to a glowing mandala structure that pulsates with energy. Mandalas symbolize the universe, from which life is created. They can also symbolize the sun, an essential part of plant life. Fern is used as the base of the mandala on the dinosaurs because it’s one of the oldest plants - first appearing on earth over 300 million years ago. The color palette mostly consists of golden yellow tones, as well as a dust of magenta and some occasional splashes of purple and grass green. The imagery is a balance of digital fabric-like shapes, ethereal glowing lights and organic motion.

In Bloom
2024 "In Bloom" is an exploration of analog and digital processes. It is built on analog footage of plants and flowers, but it's wrapped in a digital husk that creates a visceral microcosmos. The general theme of the piece is birth and creation of plant like creatures. It is a piece inspired the tiny natural wonders of transformations that happen around us every day. In Bloom attempts to depict the way plants communicate with each other in ways unknown to us deep under their surfaces.
The music is very essential part of the mood, and it is created by "Korai Öröm" - a progressive tribal-trance-ethno band from Hungary.

Night Raga from their 2013 album (used with permission from the band) uses deep notes and lets sounds resonate through space and time just like vibrations between trees and plants.
